The visit was part of the research project “Research on the Possibility of Returning Gases from the Lignite Combustion Process at the Kosova B Powerplant.”
Students engaged in hands-on testing and analysis of lignite, fly ash, and bottom ash, gaining real-world insights into environmental challenges and modern industrial practices.
Guided by SHARRCEM’s expert technicians, the students explored advanced laboratory equipment and procedures, bridging the gap between classroom theory and industrial application.
This initiative also brought together academic and industry professionals—including representatives from Kosova B Powerplant—to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration in the field of environmental sustainability.
