The Frozen Music Competition aimed to inspire architecture students to create innovative, sustainable, and environmentally responsible design solutions. The competition provided an opportunity for participants to showcase their skills in developing concepts that align with sustainable architecture principles, focusing on green design and sustainable materials.
Winning Teams:
- Team UP-010 from University of Prishtina
- Team UBT-008 from UBT – University for Business and Technology
Both teams were selected for their ability to merge creativity with sustainability, presenting solutions that support the vision of a greener future. Their projects contributed to the ongoing dialogue on sustainable development in Kosovo’s architecture and construction sectors.
The jury evaluated the projects based on their innovative use of sustainable design principles, including energy efficiency, material choices, and integration with the surrounding environment.
Guest Speaker: Architect Thierry Bogaert, from Bogaert Architecture / Bogaert Design, provided insights on the latest trends in sustainable architecture, highlighting the importance of integrating green design practices into architectural projects. His contribution enriched the event by offering a global perspective on sustainable architecture.
